The software is trying to connect to a port that is already in use by another program. Most computers only have 1 Com port and the software should default to Com 1. If you have more than 1 Com port on the computer, for example Com 2, select the other port and try the update again. NB: If you are offered Com 3, this is the internal modem and cannot be used. If you are not offered an available port then it is more than likely another piece of software is configured to use the port you are connected to.
